Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve just finished building a brand-new 2D basketball game called Basketball Gym, made entirely using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no game engines, no frameworks, just pure code.

This project is a fast, chaotic, and super fun basketball battle where two teams fight for ball control, dribble, pass, steal, and score inside a fast-moving gym court.

🏀 What’s in the Game?
✔️ Two Full Teams

The game features two teams (customizable!) competing in real-time. Each player moves intelligently, tries to steal the ball, and plays both offense and defense.

✔️ Real Dribbling

Players actually dribble, not slide across the floor. The dribble animation and timing make the movement feel more alive.

✔️ Passing & Stealing

You can pass the ball to teammates, and the opponents can steal if you’re not careful. It creates crazy, unpredictable gameplay moments.

✔️ Smart Ball Physics

The ball bounces, gets stolen, deflects, and behaves realistically for a 2D game.

✔️ Smooth Controls

Keyboard controls are responsive and simple for new players while still fun for advanced players.

Everything is highly optimized, so the game runs smoothly even on mobile browsers.

🚀 Why I Built This

I wanted to challenge myself to make a full sports game from scratch, with no game engine. It taught me a lot about physics, player states, AI, and game loop optimization.

Thank You!
