scifferous
Hi everyone — I built CUTDAY, a free fan-made NFL career simulation that runs entirely in the browser (HTML5 / React). Play: https://cutday.shaly-c.workers.dev/ About: https://cutday.shaly-c.workers.dev/about.html Tagline: Live the career. Survive the roster. What it is You create a player and live a full career from high school through the pros: draft day, roster cut day, contracts, seasons, story events, and retirement. Careers get a comparable 0–100 grade so you can compete on the worldwide Hall of Fame, take the shared daily challenge, or duel a friend. Modes - Career — custom run, your choices - Daily challenge — same seed for everyone that day - Friend duel — linked careers; live rival grade/stats while you both play, then 1st/2nd podium + rematch - Hall of Fame — local + worldwide leaderboard Tech - HTML5 browser game / installable PWA - React + Vite front end - Cloudflare Workers API (KV duels, D1 leaderboard) - Web Audio SFX, canvas confetti, mobile-friendly UI Screenshots (attach the PNGs and use “Add to post”) Feedback I’d love 1. Is the live rival board during Friend Duel clear and competitive, or too noisy over the decision cards? 2. Does the career loop feel too long / too short for a browser session? 3. Any first-impression friction on mobile (title → play → share duel)? Unofficial fan project — not affiliated with the NFL. Team names/logos are used in a fan context. Thanks for playing / critiquing — happy to answer tech or design questions.
