I've traditionally used AWS or Rackspace at work, and cheaper solutions for my own hobby stuff, but I have a load of stuff all over the place and running my own Docker registry is a bit of a pain in the butt to be honest, not to mention I have a number of deploy scripts, all in various forms between different projects. Not pleasant. Google Cloud Platform let you set up a Docker container registry really easily and have a specific product for managing and deploying Docker containers using Kubernetes, all sounds like its much more powerful than I require at present but it sounds like a good offering for small or large apps.
