Mostly it would be a short burst game for children to consolidate their understanding of the concept. A more fun alternative to a worksheet. As such there is no backwards step for failure just a record keeping of the fails. It is possible to grind through the levels but this would be a good thing as children would learning while doing this. My intention with this game was to make the maths a part of the game rather than the bolt on it usually is in maths games.
