Uncaught TypeError: this.stage.start is not a function

Hi there, newbie here  :D

Anyways, starting out with phaser (2.4.4) and trying to follow a Lynda.com course, I keep getting the error (Chrome console):

Uncaught TypeError: this.stage.start is not a function

Before I got another one:

TypeError: this.scale.setScreenSize is not a function

which I solved replacing my call to setScreenSize with updateLayout. 

 

Any suggestions will be appreciated?
