How do I remove sprite weight?

Recommended Posts

The player sprite is allowed to move around on the ground (immovable platform) and also jump on boxes (movable objects). However, whenever something stands on a box (player or another box), it begins to sink. And stacking too many boxes causes them to fall through. How can I remove the sprite weight or otherwise fix this problem in arcade physics?
