Sandbox Issue : ADVANCING

When I load files into the Sandbox, the scene displays nicely. However, clicking on the little "gauge" button to bring up the stats I get this error:

Error status: 404 - Unable to load http://www.babylonjs.com/inspector.js

which I assume means it can't find the script file.

Wonders to self, "Am I the only person who uses the Sandbox?" :o

cheers, gryff :)

1 hour ago, Deltakosh said:

we are working on a new version of the the debug layer (almost done, I will publish it tomorrow).

@Deltakosh : Ah ha - now you have me intrigued!! :)

Guess I will have to wait a day to see the improvements - though I have always been happy using it :)

Along with the Arc Rotate camera from Blender,, It is my go-to tool for fast checking scene layouts.

cheers gryff :)

@Deltakosh : OK , cleared cache and loaded babylon file - I get this error:

TypeError: invalid 'instanceof' operand BABYLON.PrimitiveAlignment babylon.inspector.bundle.js:408:14805

Seems to be referring to the "inspector" again.

It does pop up a white layer above the icons - but nothing in it

Edit : Seems to be working in the PG :)

cheers, gryff :)

@Deltakosh : I guess I spoke too soon about the PG.

Everything seems ok - then I clicked the "+Debug" and it displays the panel fine and changes the button to "-Debug". Clicking that does nothing except change the button back to "+Debug". If that is clicked again then a second info panel opens. You can repeat that multiple times ... and keep adding panels:o

It is Friday afternoon - not time to be trying to fix code - time to be thinking of that glass of wine or a beer .:D

Mind you, I've just been out walking my daughter's Italian Greyhound in a snow squall with 35km/hour winds - now I'm drinking hot chocolate

cheers, gryff :)

@Deltakosh : I see an advance has been made - see image below. I can now load a .babylon file and textures with no complaints to the "inspector" :)

Now, just idiosyncratic with the interface - the big white area, odd behaviour on resizing, reloading the file (if I missed a texture)

But that has nothing to do with BJS itself :)

You work all night DK ?? No need - I can wait.

cheers, gryff :)
