Including a local app.js

[hg_tg]

I am confused in regard to including external Javascript files to the HTML. Essentially, I don't want to have the all of the game's data sitting in the client.

Here is what I don't want, even it works.

 

Here is what I wish to work, but it doesn't.

 

I have also included the app.js, if needed or relevant.

Let me know if you guys have a clue as to what is going wrong.
