kishigo Posted April 17, 2018 Share Posted April 17, 2018 We are seeing very unusual performance on a vizio smart tv platform. Pixi finds WebGL and so does HTML5Test. However, a simple test based on bunnymark shows 14fps + video blanking between each frame. When we switch to the Canvas2D renderer, we see 30fps and smooth animation, no blanking. Has anyone played with the vizio? They do have a custom SOC (2 core, 4 gpu) which leads me to suspect there is some quirkyness in their webgl implementation.
