Exporting grouped skin to glTF from 3dsMax doesn't work

I'm trying to export a scene where there is a skin modifier is applied to a group containing multiple nodes. It seems that in this case the animation data is not exported properly.

Is there any trick I can use to be able to export such scenes?

I'm attaching a simple 3dsMax (2017) scene and a glb showing the problem.
