This game is called Wikibattle. I would say its sort of an idle game, and its heavily inspired by a certain game which will remain unnamed due to their publishers cease-and-desist-happy lawyers. In the game, you catch and train fighters from Wikipedia as you travel from real place to real place. It is multiplayer (although the only real multiplayer elements in the game now are a shared world, where gyms you take over will be taken over for other players). Passwords are salted and hashed. Here is a screenshot mid-battle: I would be more than happy to talk tech or design with anyone, and am very open to suggestions.
