Taranis Posted May 30, 2021 Share Posted May 30, 2021 Hello, I would be very grateful if someone could help point me in the right direction in regards to a game I would like to create. Examples of this game would be something like Gladiatus, Bite Fight and Battle Knights all from Game Forge. Another similar game would be Torn. All of these game are written in php and coding examples are old (from the early 2000s) however, I would like to use Javascript and I cant seem to find much info about doing it. My biggest help has been this video series: https://youtu.be/M6sA8fvMCuA I would like to create the following very basic structure to my game to start out with: 1) attack monsters gaining loot and experience 2) character level increases through experience but skills are increased through gold from loot 3) a "cool down" period (can only attack monsters after "x" amount of minutes. I mostly need help with 1 and 2. Most game tutorials I come across are for RPGs, platformers and other with animations. Any help is greatly appreciated.
