Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Back-end Game Developer with a strong passion for gaming and web development. The ideal candidate will be a master at creating the backbone of our web-based gaming experiences and will be instrumental in ensuring our games run smoothly, efficiently, and are highly scalable.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain the server-side game logic and architecture.

2. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

3. Develop and optimize APIs for web-based gaming experiences.

4. Integrate with external services and APIs, particularly those provided by AWS.

5. Manage and optimize databases, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

6. Deploy and maintain gaming applications in a production environment.

7. Implement and manage in-game data storage and caching using Redis.

8. Debug and resolve server-side technical issues.

9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our games remain competitive and cutting-edge.

    

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

2. Proven experience in game development, specifically for web-based platforms.

3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and server-side development.

4. Hands-on experience with Next.js and Nest.js frameworks.

5. Certified in AWS, with a demonstrated ability to handle DevOps tasks efficiently.

6. Proficient in working with PostgreSQL databases.

7. Deep understanding and experience with Redis for caching and session management.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

10. Excellent communication skills.
