ForceOrientation on Desktop Browser

My game won't show the forceOrientation image in case it is viewed from a desktop browser.

 

It works perfectly on my mobile, and even if I set Chrome to emulate a mobile device, it works just fine, but if I scale the desktop browser horizontally it will just stretch the game and ignore the forceOrientation values.

 

Is this a normal behaviour? I have been searching Phaser code to determine why it is happening but still got no clue, I don't see Phaser making any distinction about game.device when it has to rescale.

 

I really need this solved.
