Tools for Model-driven engineering in JS

Hello together,

I would like to ask if anyone has experience with entity modelling and code generation in javascript, like actifsource or EMF in Java.

My technical background is (relational) database engineer and so I often think very compartmentalized while modelling.

For the (s)rpg I'm planning (and for future projects), there will be a lot of entities and during development there will be even more changes on the entitities and an easy to use tool for changing and auto generating prototypes would be wonderful.

If your background is in relational databases, you might benefit from reading the articles at http://t-machine.org/ about Entity Component Systems as you transition to game development. In one of his essays at http://t-machine.org/index.php/2007/12/22/entity-systems-are-the-future-of-mmog-development-part-3/ he explains "the link between entity systems and SQL/Relational Databases."
