Tullio72
https://tullio2.itch.io/arena-medievale Hi everyone! I’m developing Arena Medievale, a 2D top-down browser arena game built to run directly in the browser on desktop and mobile. The idea is to combine fast arena combat with PvE, bots, class-based abilities and a living battlefield where things keep happening around you instead of simply throwing players into an empty deathmatch map. A match features 12 fighters battling across a large medieval arena divided into different regions. While everyone is fighting for survival, the map is populated by hostile creatures, elite enemies, minibosses and a central boss. There are currently 6 playable classes: Tank – Mage – Rogue – Cabalist – Vampire – Archer Each class has its own combat style and abilities. Kills build Adrenaline, which unlocks more powerful abilities and creates a risk/reward decision between farming monsters and engaging other fighters. The arena also has dynamic systems such as weather/day-night changes, biome-specific enemies, roaming groups, environmental events and Landmarks that can trigger special events during a match. One of the things I’ve spent a lot of time on is the AI. Bots don't simply run directly at the player: they fight monsters, form squads, assist teammates, react to danger, use abilities, retreat, dodge attacks and eventually engage other fighters. The game currently supports: Single Player with 11 AI-controlled fighters Multiplayer Spectator mode 6 playable classes Class-specific abilities + Adrenaline abilities PvE and PvP in the same match Elite enemies, minibosses and bosses Squads and coordinated bot AI Dynamic Landmark events Day/night cycle and environmental effects Desktop controls Mobile/touch controls Installable PWA on Android/iOS Persistent wins/leaderboard Three lives per fighter — last survivor wins I need playtesters! At this stage I'm especially interested in real-world testing rather than just adding more features. If you try it, I'd really appreciate feedback about: Performance / FPS, especially during large fights; mobile performance and overheating; controls and responsiveness; AI behavior; class balance; difficulty; bugs or strange behavior; multiplayer latency; and, most importantly, whether the game is actually fun after several matches. If something feels wrong, unfair, confusing or simply annoying, tell me. That's more useful to me than polite feedback. I'm particularly interested in results from different Android phones, iPhones, older PCs and different browsers because optimizing a fairly busy HTML5 arena for mobile hardware has been one of the biggest challenges of the project. PLAY ARENA MEDIEVALE: 👉 https://tullio2.itch.io/arena-medievale No installation is required — just open it in your browser. On mobile it can also be installed as a PWA. If you test it, please mention your device + browser + approximate FPS/performance along with any problems you encounter. Screenshots, videos and bug reports are very welcome. Thanks for giving an indie HTML5 project a try. I'm actively developing Arena Medievale, so feedback from this playtest will directly influence the next builds. See you in the Arena! ⚔️
