outlol: free multiplayer football (2D/3D) and foosball in the browser

Physics football with the feel of HaxBall's classic stadium, written from scratch at a fixed 60 Hz.

Choose a top-down 2D view (Canvas 2D) or a 3D view (three.js).

Foosball mode: eight rods and eleven men a side, up to 4 players a side. Hold kick to charge a shot.

Networking: WebRTC in a star around a host player's browser. Inputs are 4 bytes, and snapshots are binary and quantized. Guests interpolate everyone else and predict their own player with rollback.

Rooms hold up to 24 people, and a link is all a friend needs to join.

Controls: arrows/WASD and X/Space on a keyboard; a joystick and kick button on a phone.

 

Built with TypeScript, React, Vite and Cloudflare Workers. Feedback on the controls and the netcode is very welcome.
