Hi everyone,

I'm a solo dev from Spain and I make small arcade games that run in the browser. Operacion Cobra is a top-down run-and-gun: short 60-second missions, one screen at a time, like the arcade cabinet games I grew up with. You rescue hostages, shoot your way through the jungle and try to beat your own hi-score.

  • Made with plain JavaScript and Canvas — no engine, no framework, no build step.
  • No ads, no SDKs, no in-app purchases, nothing to install: it opens and plays.
  • Keyboard on desktop, on-screen controls on touch. Playable in any modern browser; designed for a 480x820 portrait window so it fits a phone.
  • Free: https://metamaxct.itch.io/operacion-cobra

Screenshots (feel free to use them if you want to promote it):

Controls: arrows to move, Z to shoot, X for bombs, P pause.

The other five games in the same style (also free, also browser-only) are here: https://metamaxct.itch.io

Happy to hear what you think about the feel of the shooting and the pacing of the 60-second missions. If anyone wants the source to look at how something is done, just ask.
