dianxiangan32
I can hardly know about it. I'm in China, and I can't access google. So anyone give me a link about atlas animation?
ram64
Hello, Here are a few links to some resources about Texture Atlas (I believe this is what you mean by „atlas”).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texture_atlashttp://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/130940/practical_texture_atlases.phphttp://jessefreeman.com/game-dev/advantages-of-texture-atlases-over-sprite-sheets/http://www.html5gamedevs.com/topic/3007-spritesheets-v-atlases/http://blog.wolfire.com/2010/03/Using-texture-atlases
eguneys
@ram64, is there a specification for the json map that texture atlas uses.
ram64
@ram64, is there a specification for the json map that texture atlas uses.I am not sure about that. From what I know you will have JSON Hash or Array made out of frames and each frame will have the following format:FRAME - filename - frame -- x, y, w, h - rotated - trimmed - spriteSourceSize -- x, y, w, h - sourceSize -- w, hAgain, I'm not that familiar if this is standard or not.
