Babylon very slow on mobile browsers (android) in portrait mode

Hello community,

I'm new to Babylon.

Something I registered is that Babylon becomes very slow on my Note 2 in portrait mode. I've tested with four different browsers: Chrome, Android Browser, FF and Opera.

Loading the skull demo (Tutorial Section "Importing meshes") shows the problem very precisely: if the app is in portrait mode, the frame rate falls down to 14 fps. If I switch to landscape mode, the frame rate is stable about 40 fps. Other apps (including my own) confirm this problem.

On desktop browsers everything is fine, even when I resize the browser to an aspect ratio "width < height".

Can anyone confirm this behaviour? Unfortunately I can't test with iOS at the moment.

Are there any solutions or workarounds yet?

Thanks for your help.
