Not loading Assets on password protected domain

Hi there,

 

I've been password protecting my website. (The typical .htaccess way)

 

Now, after I entered the site, using the correct username and password, the images don't get loaded. 

I get an error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Authorization Required)

 

Now this seems to happen on Chrome, Opera and IE. Firefox does not have this problem.

 

Any advice, anyone?
