erixon
Hello, trying the Babylon online converter with DAE from Sketchup, a simple box with one texture. "all files must be in the root directory..." Would be nice if you can have the folder as Sketchup creates it. If I move the texture-image out of the folder in the zip, it says: "There was no endpoint listening at net.pipe://localhost/exportservice that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details." Any ideas? kind regardsTomas

erixon
Ok I see. Another try with sketchup DAE. I get an output.zip with a debug.txt "The driver has encountered an unexpected error." Sketchup creates a texture folder which is not allowed and moving it to root with a OBJ-file it says: "Could not find a part of the path 'test123/Fencing_Weathered.jpg'." Tried a non-textured OBJ from sketchup: "Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.Parameter name: index" Finally a FXP from sketchup seems to work, though I'm not sure if the texture is included. Some kind of texture in the babylon-file but not point to a jpg. multiMaterials":[{"id":"0-_material","materials":["0Fencing_Weathered"],"name":"0-_material"} Do I need to load texture manually in a script connecting with 0Fencing_Weathered...? How is the support for sketchup..? /Tomas

erixon
I just tried to find an easy way to export from Sketchup with textures into Babylon. I tried one box with one texture. A zipped DAE-file with a box without textures says: "The driver has encountered an unexpected error." I attached it here, shouldn't it work?cube.dae.txt
erixon
Any plans to support Sketchup DAE ? I still get the "The driver has encountered an unexpected error."
GameMonetize
The best idea is to use blender or 3ds max to import it
erixon
Another try, 3 files, obj/mtl/jpg in a zip "all files must be in the root directory..." GameMonetize
As you may have seen we are not really proud of our converter Could you try to use Blender or 3dsmax instead? (and soon Unity3d:)) I'm pinging Pierlag in the meantime to see if he could do something for you
