We are looking for a Junior HTML5 Game Developer that should have the following:
 
 

Junior HTML5 Game Developer:

The Game Developer  will provide a pivotal position within the Technical Team. The main function of this position is to support the Workshop in all facets of game development and strategic planning.  The position requires experience in both game development and technical roles. This position will report to the Technical Director and work closely with the QA team. This will be a contracted position and must be based in New York, NY as you will be expected to be in the office Monday through Friday.


Required Skills:

Development:

  • Ability to write cross-browser & cross platform compatible HTML5 games

  • Ability to convert flash games to HTML5

  • iPhone/Mobile/App development a plus

  • Conduct code reviews from vendors


Management:

  • Ability to provide direction through leadership

  • Strong willingness to learn

  • Team player and good listener

  • Creative problem solver


Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Technical Team to help improve and increase our body of HTML5 Games

  • Manage the Games Archive

  • Contribute to Technical Games Strategy

  • Work with Producers and the QA team to test builds in testing environments

  • Troubleshoot client and consumer reported issues
