Fluid body as normal sprite body?

Hey. I saw this phaser simulation: http://gamemechanicexplorer.com/#fluid-1.

I was wondering if it was possible to get that type of body to behave as a sprite body in p2 physics. That would bassically mean that the body would behave like a fluid (with a little more structure) and for example if I pressed one of the cursor keys it would all move to a certain direction. 

Any idea?
