You just set the Sprite.blend property to whatever you want :) Note that in WebGL Pixi only supports a couple of blend modes right now, and in Canvas you need a super-latest version browser for blend mode support. There is a Pixi.js blend modes example you can check out - basically anything they set the blend mode to in there you can do in Phaser too.
