IOS Must Use Native Video Player?

Hi, I just wondering if there is a work around this?

When playing video on IOS, it uses Native Player, is there a way to stop IOS from using native player?
If not, at least is there a way for the native player to go away once the video has finished playing? Currently, it just stays there and you have to tap x or swipe down to close it before you can continue.

Hopefully someone have a way to resolve this.

It seems that adding this line fixes it

variable.video.setAttribute('playsinline', 'playsinline');
