codevinsky
I want to know.
rich
Neither of the bower phaser packages are controlled by us. We have a request in at the moment to update the ownership but it's been ignored for months and they don't seem to be doing anything about any of the other requests in the queue either. Honestly it's quite a ridiculous system.
David
That's ridiculous. I love using bower, but if they are not going to respond to such requests, that's simply unprofessional. I will say, however, whoever is posing as the "official" package is at minimum doing a good job of keeping it updated for now.
codevinsky
Agreed. The Bower package points at the correct repo, but the name on the package points back to rich, which is incorrect.
george
Are you talking about https://github.com/nDmitry/bower-phaser ? I'm curious. Did you try to contact the owner nDmitry or only the bower 'staff' in this matter?

george
That's worse than I expected. It's ridiculous that such a famous js package manager has only a manual removing process. I mean npm has npm-unpublish so how difficult can it be? Let's hope for the best. Thanks for the link, I raised my voice there to help a little bit. rich
Yeah it's frustrating and strange in equal amounts.
