j0hnskot
Hello!I was testing my gaming on android and there is a problem with the music im using. The music starts after a huge delay. Is there a common problem? Any way to get around this? Edit: on cocoonjs launcher the sound works perfectly. I guess this is a browser issue? j0hnskot
As i can understand, decoding takes ages on android.I'm using an ogg file of 94kbps bitrate and 2.5mb in size. What matters the most for faster decoding? the size? the bitrate? Both?
plicatibu
I have no experience with Phaser + Android (only Phaset + HTML 5 and Android + other frameworks), but can't you use .WAV instead of ogg files? I think that with WAV files you won't have to wait for decoding. Other think you can do is to download first your audio files and add some animation in the preloader while it's decoded. Did you see this code? Pay attention to update method.
j0hnskot
I have already an animation while decoding!I tried with wav, it loads faster! Not lightning fast but better than one minute! Now i must find a way to reduce the size of the audio files. Thanks for the suggestion!
