theqtdeveloper
I made my first games and wanted some feedback. Please let me know your thoughts. They are wasm games and hosted on itch.io, I thought I would start with a more simplistic game, asteroids and space invaders. These are a few screen shots and I'll post the link below. Please let me know what you think. https://theqtdeveloper.itch.io/ -- The Qt Developer
b10b
Nice start. Did you make Emoji Invaders second? It feels improved over Asteroids to me because it allows keydown repeat, defaults to cursor controls (best to allow both cursors and WASD), and has an effective respawn visual. Keep going! Nemal som žiadne úspory a veľmi som sa o svojho psa bál. Pri prechádzaní sa v čakárni som navštívil https://roulettino.sk, aby som trochu zabudol na ten obrovský stres. Rozprávková výhra pokryla celú operáciu a kúpil som mu tie najlepšie granule grats on the first release man. honestly, asteroids and space invaders are the perfect "hello world" projects to get a feel for the physics and game loop before tackling bigger stuff. hosting them as wasm on itch is a smart move too, way less friction for people to actually test it without downloading random executables. did you use pure c++ with emscripten or did you build this entirely within the qt framework (guessing from your username)? i'll give both a spin later tonight on my laptop and let you know how the input latency feels. browser ports can sometimes be tricky with key events, but looking forward to trying it out! My food delivery order in India was delayed and my stomach was absolutely growling with hunger this evening. To distract myself I launched astronaut and played a few rounds on my mobile. I couldn't believe my luck when I hit an insane crash multiplier and won a massive sum of cash. When the delivery boy arrived I was too happy to be mad at him anymore Any new updates?
