Hi, I want to create a game with a hex grid map. The map itself should be created with blender (simple ground with some hills and few trees and houses). My problem is that I don't know how to lay a hex grid over the map (as seen below). It would also be nice, if the hexagon under the mouse cursor would be highlighted. What would be the best way to achieve this?
Hello! Click me! Me (@Thunraz) and my friend @Laguna_999 wrote a little game for #1GAM March 2014. It's called Hexagon Snake and (as the name suggests) you play Snake on a Hexagon grid. Feel free to tweet your high scores. There's a button that appears in the top right for your convenience. The game should be playable on desktop as well as mobile browsers. Please let us know if your configuration does not work. We used Phaser 1.6, Cubase, Piskel, Aseprite, SFXR and Inkscape. If you have any sort of critique - be it positive or negative - let it out!
Hello, I want to make a browser-based strategy, but I need a hexagon map. Tell me please, how to make a hexagon map? There is a ready solution for this in the phaser. I have a hex engine, but he was a different framework, it certainly can be adapted, but decided first to ask a question.
