Cool Cows On Ice

hey there. i just released my first game (ever) and wanted to show it here so you can try it (and maybe tell me more about how it performs on your device and how many bugs you've found ;-) )

 

it is called "cool cows on ice" and features a cow (obviously) and some crazy kamikaze penguins that may, or may not help you finish a level...

 

you can touch and hold the cow and then throw it as precisely as you can into the target area.

 

the game is build completely with the amazing phaser.js framework and p2 physics

i used crosswalk 10 and intel xdk to package it 

it also has ads (one interstitial in the menu - only once) and non-intrusive banners in the score screen - and the option to remove them

almost all the graphics and animations are created in gimp

the audio tracks are composed by good friend of mine (dj körner)

well.. they work.. that's all i can say..  because no one bought the "no-ads-feature" but i tried with two accounts that are registered as testaccounts and completed a free purchase which - obviously - disabled the ads in the game for those users..

 

i tried to program the ads into my game in a very unintrusive way..  one fullscreen ad in the menu and a banner ad at the bottom of the finish screen... so they probably don't hurt enough make the purchase..   also i have only 90 installs.. that's not really a lot  :unsure:

oh.. and funny thing.. someone discovered a "cheat" in my game to get infinite moves..  something i didn't program (at least not on purpose)   :blink:   i decided to NOT fix it for now because it only helps in some levels and i think it's cool that they "hacked" my code with gestures ^^

Thanks for the answer. I think that the better way would be to give some in-game customisations as in-app purchases, as the no-ads don't work so well. The more "annoying" method would be to use life-system as in candy crush (get one life/play per 10minutes or so).
