grumpygamer
Just a quick one guys as I have just tried my creation on FF (win) for the first time. It's really slow! It's unusable!I have a firefox on another machine (mac) and here it seems fine, so I'm pretty sure it all boils down to HW acceleration. That seems to be turned on too.Any clues? Thanks
ForgeableSum
Seriously, just ditch firefox. Mozilla has completely dropped the ball. Even IE is faster browser now. My game works on FF but I plan on displaying a message with a link to download Chrome because I'm done putting up with FF.

stupot
WebGL isn't always faster than canvas! It still reqiures an efficient software layer to get your gfx commands to the hardware - and a bug free gfx driver/firmware. You can test your browser WebGL performance on other sites for an indication of how well it's doing. Are the Phaser examples running ok on your slow FF? You could always calculate the performance of WebGL/Canvas of the browser and use that to decide which mode to go for. Finally, post a link to the game and immediately benefit yourself with the experience of many free testers, some helpful person might spot something that causes such a performance drop on a specific setup, which could be really easy to fix/workaround. Skeptron
I forced my game to CANVAS just because it was slow as hell on Firefox with WEBGL. So yeah, duck diredox.
