mapcollide example no longer works properly in 1.1.x

the "mapcollide" example does not seem to work properly in 1.1.x. jumping doesn't seem to work, and it looks a lot different from the way it did in 1.0.

 

here is what it looked like in 1.0.x:

here's how it looks to me since 1.1.3:

and jumping doesn't seem to work.

 

i rely on the examples to make sure i'm doing things right, so when the examples are broken, it makes me uneasy.

 

any thoughts? thanks!

I've finished recoding the new tilemap collision code, am much happier with it now and it's pretty rock solid. I need to redo tile rendering and then it will be done, so definitely in 1.1.4 release before Christmas. You can track progress on dev branch. In all previous versions they have issues I'm not happy about.
