Funny, I found it by accident - I have started using the ArcRotate camera in all my early Blender exports of a scene, so that I can get a good exploration view in the Sandbox. And this showed up when I first moved it to the PG.

Just locally tested the .babylon of my problem file with the latest version of BJS - seems to work fine :)

So thank you again DK. And to all the other folks who suggested answers - they got me to keep searching for an answer - thank you too :)

Perhaps more than anything though, it shows the helpfulness of the BJS community.
