Put gun in cowboy hand!

Hi buddies


I'm in trouble trying to put a gun (mesh) in my animated cowboy (another mesh, rigged). I try parent to skeleton bone (failed), make a fake mesh rigged in same skeleton and then parenting the gun (failed). All models are made in blender.


Any thoughts?

Perhaps you can get at each frame your bone position and rotation (cowboy's hand in your case) and apply those transformations to your object. I'm working on something like that, but I'm not satisfied of what I did ( I use skeleton.bones[index of your cowboy's hand]._worldTransform). Have a look to in this forum, there are talking about sword,  Here is what I get.
