Rodrix3
The manuals are unclear about this. I understand that both are post processing; however, what is the standard vs the default? Both words are very similar. Can they be combined? And, why both have a Depth of field effect? is one applied per mesh and the other just as a fragment shader / overall screen effect? Guest
The way to go is with default pipeline. We keep the standard pipeline for backward compatibility reasons Rodrix3

BTW, how can I achieve brightThreshold effect with the defaultPipeline?

trevordev
@tomer the standard pipeline's bloom brightThreshold is similar to the defaultPipelines bloomThreshold see this PG: https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#Y3C0HQ#146 I'll update the docs to reflect the state of the standard pipeline and point to the default pipeline. tomer and Rodrix3
