Tom W Hall
This is a simple game for children or adults which I originally wrote for Windows 8 (WinJS), then Android (with Trigger.io) and now I've adapted it for online. Tom W Hall
I have no idea whats going on Any tips? The instructions (very simple) are launched via the green question mark icon. But I should probably make it more obvious how to access them, perhaps via the message text on the board.

turnA
You've got interesting game mechanic there! It's true that the instruction should be clearer. Also, if the game ended, you should show something that tell player the game is over and you can restart (I don't understand the meaning of 'You've hit the pay dirt' when the game is over). Tom W Hall
I've also now back-ported the HTML5 version into the original Windows 8 version, which is now targeting Windows 8.1: http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-gb/app/i-never-promised-you-a-rose/cd7fa639-e30d-4aab-baa1-14448fcb483f
