Our (Clay.io's) HTML5 game development competition for students, "Got Game?" has officially begun! It runs from March 5th through April 5th and is open to students (high school / college / university)

 

Prizes are:

  1. $1,500 + Year-long GitHub Medium Plans + Construct 2 Licenses
  2. $1,000 + Year-long GitHub Medium Plans + Construct 2 Licenses
  3. $500 + Year-long GitHub Medium Plans + a Construct 2 License

Judges include:

  • Christopher Weaver - Founder of Bethesda Softworks, Adjunct Professor at MIT
  • Warren Spector - Creator of Deus Ex, Founder at Ion Storm Austin, GM at Disney Interactive Studios
  • Gordon Walton - Former GM of Bioware Austin, Sony Online Entertainment, and Playdom Austin
  • Tim Campbell - Current VP at Gameforge, Former VP at THQ and Atari
  • Fred Schmidt - CEO of Portalarium, former GM at Origin Systems / EA
  • Ken Demarest - Former Technical Director at Origin Systems (he developed the initial Ultima Online prototype)

Hey remvst, I am taking art in the competition aswell and I also am not sure what to make exactly, although I have a few rough ideas, maybe you'd like to collaborate? We could brainstorm some ideas and work on which we feel is the best? :)
