  1. 1. Do you generally develop for mobile or desktop? Wow, this question appears in three places.

I'm targeting mobile, but developing on desktop, so automatically testing on desktop first. The game have to scale properly for mobile devices, have to be optimized, but should also be playable using keyboard or at least a mouse. The more operating systems and platforms the game can reach, the better.

There's no point in building an amazing desktop game if it's unplayable on mobile...you might as well have used Flash.

Needless to say, I disagree. I like HTML5 and javascript as a canvas for designing and developing games, and I find Flash cumbersome both on the developer end and the user end. Plus, there are many situations where you just want the device inputs of a keyboard and mouse. Of course, you seem to be talking more as an entrepreneur while I'm talking more as an artist. I'm currently developing a game that downright cannot legally be sold, so that colors my perspective a bit.
