Phaser.Text smoothness issue, text appears blurred

I've had tons of issues when my game gets scaled up. I'm literally drawing Phaser to an offscreen canvas then drawImage'ing to the onscreen canvas to resize. Then again, I'm making a pixel art game where the hero is like 8 pixels high... but maybe it'll help you?


When the canvas resizes my graphics by itself the dread specter of bilinear filtering rears its head. I'm considering adding a build step to enlarge all my assets and then let Phaser resize it down (which prevents blurring) but then all my physics values are messed up.
