threedollarbill
Being that MP3s are supported in most of the major browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera) (according to this: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_audio.asp ). Would it still be practical to include OGGs? Assuming I'm only targeting for the desktop web, and not mobile?
Skeptron
MP3 is not a free format, thus yeah OGG is still pretty useful.
bruno_
I had some problems using mp3 in some browsers, ogg worked fine. And for mobile, although it's not your target, ogg works better and has smaller sizes. So if you reconsider to port your games to mobile, ogg will be ok.
