loadTexture with TileSprites in Canvas mode

Hi, using TileSprite.loadTexture with the webgl renderer works fine, but it doesn't seem to work with the canvas renderer. 

I have the same problem with RenderTextures (and also TileSprites).

If I try pixi's render texture demo (http://www.goodboydigital.com/pixijs/examples/11/), it works on every browser I can find, even on my ancient TF101 tablet (without WebGL browsers).
