Feedback on Mobile Performance

Good news: My modest mini games' attempts haven't provoked any problems so far on mobile...

Design issue: How do others handle the physical world  problems... namely movement across a desktop screen will appear faster than movement across a smaller screen (even though obviously they are traversing the same %value of the game screen)?

How do you more experienced guys handle outputting to large and small screens?
