I'll definitely take a look at DragonBones. Come to think of it, a friend of mine just showed me that a few days ago. Although it may be to early to ask, what's the timeline looking like for DragonBones support if you don't mind me asking?

 

I suppose beyond version 2.2. It's what road map says.

I put together a dragon bones + phaser example recently but it's not been integrated into the official phaser examples yet.

Great work! This is amazing!  Question: how do you add or change animations?  You current example only loops through the "walk" animation.

Yes it works with Phaser, but I only managed to make it work with CANVAS (haven't spent much time on WebGL to be honest). Maybe I'll post the code someday when I have some time, but honestly it's not that complicated. You should be able to make it work.
