SimpleGamesLab
Hi everyone, I’m Atilla from SimpleGamesLab. I’d like to share my latest project, "Robot with a Gun", and open the floor for feedback or potential licensing discussions. Game Overview: "Robot with a Gun" is a high-octane arcade shooter built with GDevelop. The focus was on creating a polished experience with a tight gameplay loop, fully optimized for desktop browsers. Technical Specs: - Engine: GDevelop - Format: HTML5 (Optimized for performance) - Status: Ready for immediate deployment What I’m looking for: I am currently looking for licensing partners (Exclusive or Non-Exclusive) for this title. I am open to discussing custom branding or white-labeling licensing. Playable Link: https://unrealguru.itch.io/robot-with-a-gun I’m keen to hear what the community thinks of the pacing and the core loop. If you are a publisher or represent a platform and are interested in the title, feel free to drop me a DM or contact me at: simplegames6767@gmail.com Thanks for checking it out! Best, Atilla SimpleGamesLab

If making games for fun, then make whatever you want. My feedback (after one play): What's the point of the gold? Gold coming at hero vs enemy fireballs coming at hero, same mechanic but one is "good" and one is "bad", confusing. Entering a room the enemies swarm hero immediately - the first second seems the only second of jeopardy. Guess when my hero was defeated. Door collision box is hard to read, initial scroll sometimes laggy. Re-entering a cleared room, the enemies have respawned, why? What is the overall objective? Why would I play again? Play "Bezerk" (1980) and "Robotron 2084" (1982) and compare.
