Hi guys,

A new year, a new jam, a new game I made with Phaser. This time I participated in the #badboxart2018 game jam and made a game again in 72 hours.

It's called Fast Food: Regurgitated, a remake, and redesign of a classic Atari game.

Give it a try if you find it interesting, and share your thoughts with me.

Also, if you like it, you can still show some real love in the next couple of weeks, because the voting phase of the jam is still running.

I started this game five or so years ago as a way to learn HTML5 game development for a hobby. Sadly, I discovered that I don't really like using a web browser as a game engine and thus I have procrastinated immensely with this project. That said, it's almost finished and I am going push through to the end whether I like it or not, so I figured now was a good time to create an account here and share the game.

RocketTux is an easygoing, open source, side-scroller game about collecting coins and items. Help Tux navigate his way through the randomly pieced together levels, managing his boosts, earning Cubimals for bonuses, and avoiding the ever mischievous Nolok's walking bombs and other "hilarious machines"...

Download the current release (0.6.5) here. Check out the source code and wiki here. And if you're really bored, you can browse my years worth of development screenshots and my design book.

Sincerely, many thanks to the folks who have shared their knowledge here on this forum. While I never participated, I absolutely did learn a lot by reading your posts. And of course, thank you to the many people who created SuperTux, Glitch, Phaser, PIXI, Gimp, Geany, Tiled, Sunvox, Audacity, Blender, NW,js, Node.js, Chromium, and Debian/Mint/Devuan Linux. I couldn't have made any of this nifty stuff without you and the process really has brought a lot of joy to my life.

Please keep in mind that I am not a wizard, Harry, especially when it comes to OOP, which I loathe as a concept in general; I program as a hobby,  for "something to do". While I would absolutely appreciate suggestions and fixes, should you find yourself sufficiently bored to browse the source code, I have no desire whatsoever to rewrite the game. It works, that's good enough for what it is (which is finished, soon, I bloody hope!). ?
