PLAY

This is my 1st game called Orbital Defense, I would like if a few of you could test it on your devices and
give me some feedback on performance, device, browser, if the ads are showing up and if the address

bar hides. Game was designed to run at 30 FPS.

Your help and input will be greatly appreciated.

Controls:

Left Half of screen rotates Left

Right Half of screen rotates Right

EDIT

I've updated the graphics and tweaked the wave duration a bit.

Changed resolution from 480x360 to 480x320.

Also removed the ads. They take up too much space in landscape orientation.

Could everyone (if you have the time) please retest and report back with FPS.

EDIT 2

Changed the shield size a bit.

Added the ads again. Main menu only (Appwall)

Added "Instructions".

Removed FPS

Really nice game. Works great on Nexus 4 (as benny! wrote :)). I am using Chrome, adress bar doesn't hide and I can't see ads.

I think it would be better if you add more saturation to colors. Maybe something like this or this. You may also consider to speed up the game or at least make waves shorter :)

Thanks for all the replies so far.

I think I'm going to remove the ads for landscape orientated games as it takes up
too much game space.

@All

Did the address bar hide?

@Yggdrasil

When the FPS hit 10, was the game still playable or not at all?

@edrache

lol, I've been testing the game so many times that the waves felt a bit short to me.
But I will be lowering the wave time a bit.

Does anyone know why the address bar wouldn't hide?

Because on Opera Classic and Dolphin it hides fine. Firefox is a lost case
as it doesn't hide the bar or show the ads.

Perhaps you use add-blockers or something?

No, never :)

On iPad I see ads in Chrome and Safari, but on Safari I have only about 20fps and sometimes space changing color to blue (only on Safari on iPad)

I tested also on Galaxy Note 8. I can't see ads in Chrome but I see them in android Internet app. Whit ads I have about 5fps :(

The address bar hides in Safari, but not in Chrome on the iPhone 4. At the 10 FPS it is a bit hard to control the "forcefield", the reaction time is low so it continued turning.

The new graphics looks very good indeed! Maybe the "asteroids" are a bit too dark in colors to be distinguished from the background? But perhaps it needs to be seen on the mobile phone in action to be sure.

Asus Fonetab

stock android browser - 15 fps, address bar hides, star background does not render

chrome - 30 fps, address bar stays, everything else seems to work

My main issue with the slower fps was that the gameplay slows with it, so its way too easy. In chrome the speed was just right though ;)
