Heya everyone, I am silently working on a project with Panda2 but at times I feel like I better ask an experienced developer on the platform but then since the turn around time can be a bit long, I tend to dig deeper and find my own solutions. Finding my own solutions has a con, takes more time than needed. So I thought to ask whether anyone would be interested in joining a discord channel for Panda2 dev. Please let me know your thoughts.

  11. I tried 5.2.1 and 5.1.6. I was not able to find the updateText function in both versions.
  12. I agree, it is highly likely to be the use of svg format that is causing the problem. If you turned them all into pngs instead and then made atlases from them with texturepacker then the game should run perfectly fine in both canvas and webgl modes. Kind of guessing though as I've also never used svg with pixi.js
  13. It could be that you're swapping textures like crazy. That would slow things down alright. If you could use a png spritesheet instead of separate svg's, I think it would make quite a difference. Or maybe there's another way to do it with svg, I've never used them.

  16. @Milton when I use webGL on my computer it works at 50+ FPS, when I do `forceCanvas: true` it works at 8FPS why is it so slow? Everything starts lagging on canvas while using pixi.js-legacy

Game Description Claim as much territory as you can by strategically flying your spaceship around the map. You’re invincible while inside your territory and can kill anyone entering your space. Outside of your territory, other players can hit your trail and destroy your spaceship. If you hit another player’s trail, you’ll destroy their spaceship. A head to head collision results in both spaceships being destroyed.
  24. Ok, so i simply can't get anything to register an event after having it previously working fine. Is there something global I might have done that stops these from happening?
