  1. Doctor Simon's Time Crash (Download in Google Play) Doctor Simon's Time Machine has crashed and now he is stuck in a time loop! You're his only hope to come back to the present. Memorize the shapes and colors of the combinations and click the buttons on the correct order to break the loops. Travel through time and discover new ages and backgrounds. Play with special features and bonus and unlock all the rewards to complete the game. I developed this game for Ludum Dare, a JAM event in which you have to create a game from scratch in 72 hours or less. In this case, the selected theme was 'Stuck in a loop', a tricky one. I used Phaser 3 for the coding and photoshop for designing characters, backgrounds, buttons and bars. It's my fifth game uploaded to the Google Play Store, with my Game Studio, Funsmith. All of them developed with Phaser. Here's the Google Play link to download in Android devices: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=es.timecrash.app If you have iOS or you want to try the game but not download it in your phone, here's a HTML link. But please, remember, if you like it, download it! http://gonzalolhm.es/doctorSimonTimeCrash/
  2. I want to put my game to Play Store, I googled it a bit and found Cordova and CocoonJS. I'm planning to use Box2D plugin and websockets for the game so my questions are: Which one is faster? I don't want to use CocoonJS if i don't have to since it adds a "built with Cocoon" splash. Is websockets supported? Is it possible to read & write files, show notifications? Can I use Google Play Games Services? How can I monetize my game? Is there an easy way to add ads? Thanks.
  3. Hello guys, So, I'm trying to implement the Google Play Services inside my game for the players challenge their friends with leaderboards scores and achievements. As I'm using Cordova, I have two ways: plugins or javascript libs. The first one is really old and limited, besides it not work well. And in the other hand we have the JS library of Google Web (REST) that you can find here https://developers.google.com/api-client-library/javascript/start/start-js and here https://developers.google.com/games/services/web/clientsetup. So, I'd tested both and the second is more interesting and complete than the first one. However, I can't load the OAuth2 to start using the REST calls and complete my game logic. Reading about this, I discovered that the webview don't save cookies, and when I have not set the parameter cookie_policy to "none" I get this error: And, when I set cookie_policy to "none", I have this error: I already have setup the lib in index.html <!-- google play games service api --> <script src="https://apis.google.com/js/client.js"></script> And in my MainMenu state, I'm doing the SignIn tests using this code: // google play sign in if (gapi) { console.log('GAPI is loaded'); gapi.client.setApiKey('<api_key>'); gapi.load('client:auth2', function () { gapi.auth2.init({ client_id: '<client_id>', cookie_policy: 'none', scope: 'https://www.googleapis.com/auth/games' }).then(function () { console.log('auth2 success'); }); }); } else { console.error('GAPI is not loaded'); } I would like to know if anyone knows about how to implement GPGS using Cordova?! I'd like to understand what I'm doing wrong! Any help will be great! Thank you!
  4. Gameplay video (Youtube): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSVw5aPQHEg&feature=youtu.be# Game description Give me Cherry is a puzzle game, where player has to build tower from blocks to reach cherry. As soon as the block is reaching cherry and not moving, the player unlocks access to the next level. There are obstacles, monsters and different types of blocks to make the game more challenging! The game is created by me for fun and has no monetisation in mind. Has no ads. It was built via HTML5 and box2d physics engine. Screenshots Thank you Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evilence.givemecherry
  5. down votefavorite I am trying to implement a Google Play leaderboard in a very basic javascript game: I have included what I think are the necessary meta tags, signon, and scripts in my index.html file: <meta name="google-signin-client_id" content="xxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx.apps.googleusercontent.com" /> <meta name="google-signin-cookiepolicy" content="single_host_origin" /> <meta name="google-signin-callback" content="signinCallback" /> <meta name="google-signin-scope" content="https://www.googleapis.com/auth/games" /> I've included a standard google sign on button: <div class="g-signin2" data-onsuccess="onSignIn"></div> I've included the google apis: <script src="https://apis.google.com/js/client.js"></script> <script src="https://apis.google.com/js/platform.js" async defer></script> In my games.js file, I've included the call to submit the scores by: gapi.client.load('games','v1',function(response) { var request2 = gapi.client.games.scores.submit( {leaderboardId: "xxxxxxxxxx", score: 50} ); request2.execute(function(response) { console.log(response); // blah blah blah }) But nothing ever shows up on the leaderboard. The console log spit out what I'm expecting. I've confirmed the clientID and leaderboardID. For some reason the scores aren't actually being submitted (or if they are, they aren't being processed). Anyone with experience setting this up available for some pointerd? Note that this is not a chrome app/extension - it's a pure javascript game hosted on a web server.

  9. Hey guys We've published one of our html5 games to Google Play / Amazon. It even has a nice, shiny website at http://aliensattack.blackmoondev.com/ - check it out (links for download are right there on the page) If you would like to check the trailer video - it's on the page as well:)
  10. I've published an APK as alpha test on Google Play. The testers have no trouble with the opt-in screen or following the link to the store page, but when they click on "Install" they always get some kind of error, such as Error code 941 or RPC:S-2;AEC-2 or problems with the signature. I signed it using -sigalg SHA1withRSA -digestalg SHA1 and that version is online now, but the errors persist. Anyone knows what might be wrong? BTW, the game was created using phaser and cocoonjs.

  12. Hey Everyone, I just completed and released a simple, physics based game that user Phaser. As the circle, your job is to avoid the triangles and gain points by hitting the rectangles. The game gets progressively harder after certain point thresholds are reached. The level change is indicated by the player (circle) changing colors. The game is intended to be challenging, however there is strategy in controlling the player which will allows for much higher scores. Leaderboard and achievements have been included on each platform using Google Play Games and iOS Game Center. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.soquilistudios.shapeitoff&hl=en https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shape-it-off/id951345869?mt=8 The iOS version has a new version with bug fixes waiting for review (current version still playable), but the Android version is up-to-date. Feedback is welcome. Thanks
