  7. Hello, I am a newbie as you can see. I sent emails to 8 publishers(small publishers) for a html5 game license and no one responded for two days now . Does they only respond when they like the game?or I should wait for a week or two. Thanks for your time and I am waiting for your answers.
  8. Hello everybody, We have contacted several html game portals such as softgames, armorgames, and spil games to sponsor our completed game yesterday, and has not heard back from them yet today. Does anybody who had some experience with dealing with the publishers have an estimated time frame of how long this whole process take? We are planning to list our games directly on app stores next weekend if we do not hear back from any of them; or should we wait for a bit longer?
  9. Hello there, My name is Ash and I am looking to license adult games or have them developed. (Think 18+ NSFW games). 10. My name is Yu Cheng, and I'm a product manager from Nixi Technology. We are interested in buying games from studios or individuals. The game type we are looking for is "Endless Runner" which means "it require the player to navigate a character through gaps in walls, and require very little else, scoring mainly by how far the player can go before an inevitable crash as the player character automatically scrolls through the game". If you have this kind of games and would like to sell your games (licenses) and do a little bit modification for us, then please contact me either with this sites' internal message or you can email me at: [email protected]
  11. Hello guys. Can I use Disney, or Hasbro IPs in my games, do I need to license them in any way? I'm about to start developing html5 games as a second job. I would like to make some dressing games for girls. While I was browsing some portals I can't help but notice the amount of games including Disney princesses, or My Little Pony characters. Do they all contacted the IP owners? Are they all made by the IP owners themselves?
  12. Hello there! I am a game and software developer and I have one question. i see that phaser framework has a MIT license. And I have some questions for that. Can I make a game and softwares with it? If i make something, can I license my project? Do I need to post my project code? Do I need to make my project with a opensource license?
  13. I remember reading something in the FGL help articles ( on licenses and the like) and remember reading something about sponsors not wanting games that have been released to the public (this was in the Flash Games Era by the way). Now if I release an HTML game as a Beta for testing will sponsors still want to license the game (e.g. by buying a primary/exclusive license)?
  14. Hi everyone, we're new to the forum so first of all I think it's a good idea to introduce KaiserGames a little bit and show you guys what we're doing. We're located in Cologne, Germany and it all started with creating our own flash games portals around 2005/2006. Our first portals have been KralOyun.com and SpielAffe.de. Both became the market leader in their respective countries (Turkey and Germany) rather quickly and maintain this position until today. We run a couple of other games portals in different languages, but these two are mainly the pillars of KaiserGames' success. Since late 2013 we started focussing on HTML5 games and launched the respective spin-offs of the aforementioned portals for mobile devices, namely m.spielaffe.de and m.kraloyun.com. They have been growing nicely since January 2014 and each of them already counts more than 2 Million visits every month. We have been following the contents of this forum for quite a while now and thought that now may be a good time to participate and become a part of this community. We're open for interesting discussions and everything else regarding HTML5 games Of course we are mainly interested in meeting cool and capable people here. It's all about the games, so we really hope to make some great connections, especially to developers who are interested in sharing their games with a wide audience, selling licenses and stuff like that. From what we've seen so far, we have definitely come to the right place Looking forward to joining some valuable and worthwhile conversations. If you have any questions, please ask us anytime! Best regards from Germany, Lars / KaiserGames PS: We are developing games in-house as well. If you have the time, maybe take a look at m.spielaffe.de and search for Smarty Bubbles and Kiba & Kumba: High Jump.
  15. Hi Enpu. I really like Panda.js and the example games. Thank you very much for creating it! I wanted to confirm that the code for the example games in https://github.com/ekelokorpi/panda.js-engine-games is also MIT licensed? The examples are a great starting point for new games.. I understand that the graphics and sound assets probably have different terms, and can be replaced. So I am only asking about the license for the code, not the license for the assets. Keep up the good work!
  16. I recently developed this game(my first game). An inspiration of snake game .I want to license that game. I want to know wether games like this can be sold on gaming site. 17. Greetings, Here is an introduction to my latest HTML5 game project. “Tipsy roundelay” is small but well replayable game which uses well known “snake” mechanics of leading the roundelay. Player will have to explore rooms and to involve as many characters as he can. Game is adapted for mobile web (screen scaling and touch controls) and also runs great on desktop browsers (with alternative controls of course). Link to play - http://taburetka-games.com/v13/tr/ I'm looking for a sponsor so if you can advice me some publisher i will be really greatful.
  18. Hi Ancient Ore is another our match3/puzzle game we are currently finishing development of. You need to drag entire rows and columns to swap gems. We are making final changes and polishing the game at the moment, so any kind of feedback is much appreciated. I temporarily removed links on the game because it's awaiting for release, will update this post when the game will be released Thanks!
  19. Hi! We’ve recently finished working on our new puzzle/match3 game Tabby Island. It’s the game from our Fuzzy Island series. Tabby Island is based on fun (I hope ) and unique game mechanic; player need to launch fluffy kittens to score points and complete various missions. Looking forward for any feedback, especially about intuitiveness. In addition, the game is available for non-exclusive licensing. Feel free to contact me: Skype: andriy.vinchkovskiy E-mail: [email protected] You may test game by any of these urls: http://hiddenlayergames.com/tabby/ https://tabbyinslandfgl.appspot.com/ Thanks!
  20. I am thinking about creating a minified version of my project with the closure compiler (http://closure-compiler.appspot.com/home). This compiler would remove a lot of the unused babylon.js code. I don't know very much about open source licensing, is there a way to do this legally? Would I have to put a license somewhere? Oh, and also would this be possible with jQuery?
  21. Hi all! I'm going to sell my first non-exclusive license. My client asked me to prepare an invoice and a contract. So I have some questions that I'd like to ask to more experienced devs like you. I found this invoice generator. In the From field, what should I write? Only my name and surname, or also my address, website URL, email address, ...? And for Client field? I've never written a contract from scratch. Do you have some advices about how to write it? Maybe an example of a "skeleton" of a contract? I have clear in mind the conditions I want to write, but I haven't a clue about how to structure a contract in a professional way.Thank you very much in advance for your precious help!
  22. I want to know what kind of games get licensed .I have heard about FGL but i have no Idea about what kind of games they approve? Want to see some approved games.
  23. Jump over the skipping rope (manned by cheeky aliens) as many times as possible. The aliens are unpredictable, so you'll have to be on your toes. Jump rope is a quick game I made over two days. I got the idea while watching a Twitch streamer play ESP. Most of the work was done in 6 hours one day, and I polished it up for 3 hours on the second. The game was made using GameMaker: Studio and the JCHTML5 engine. Play here If you'd like to license this game, contact me at [email protected]
  24. One of our clients is looking to license at least 3 games for their website and have a custom wrapper built for these games. This is a non exclusive license and the game can have an 'about' screen that fully credits the author. Requirements: Games are for elementary aged children; No adult content or themes. Developer must wrap all 3 games in a main menu structure that: -Player sees screenshot of each game. -Player must 'Get Token' before they can play any games. -To get game token, they must answer a random trivia question correctly. We will provide trivia questions, just need to have an array of dummy questions we can edit. -After they get token, games are unlocked. They pick the game and it loads the game and they can play it normal. At game over, they are brought back to main menu and they need to 'Get Token' again to play. If anybody has some games they think would work for this and they can build the wrapper, please PM me a link to your games and a quote for your work. Our budget is not large but we are willing to negotiate for a good product. Thank you!
  25. We are currently looking for HTML5 games for licensing and HTML5 game devs for partnership. We have standard requirements such as in-game music/sound, tech support condition, in-game modification, etc. If you have a game library to share or any partnership offers, please email me at: [email protected]
